Questions people ask
How much is an endocrinologist consultation in Nigeria?
Each endocrinologist sets their own video fee, shown on their button before you pay. The lowest on Mezo right now is ₦15,000. Medicines and tests are separate, and each is priced before you pay for it.
What does an endocrinologist treat?
Conditions of the hormone glands: diabetes, the thyroid, the adrenal and pituitary glands, and hormone problems such as PCOS. Most people see one when diabetes or a thyroid problem is hard to control.
Can an endocrinologist adjust my insulin over video?
Yes, when they can see your readings. Share your meter or app readings, or a written log with times, and the doses you take. They may also order an HbA1c or other tests at a partner laboratory.
My thyroid test is abnormal. What happens next?
The endocrinologist reads it with your symptoms, may order further thyroid blood tests or a scan, and agrees treatment. An overactive thyroid is usually treatable with medicine, according to the NHS.
Do I need a referral to see an endocrinologist on Mezo?
