1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Mezo Health platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Platform Services

Mezo provides a technology platform connecting patients with MDCN-registered specialist doctors and accredited healthcare facilities. Mezo is not a healthcare provider. The medical services are provided by independent, licensed practitioners.

3. Doctor Obligations

Doctors must: (a) maintain a current MDCN practising licence; (b) provide accurate professional information; (c) enable two-factor authentication within 72 hours of registration; (d) comply with all applicable medical regulations and ethical standards.

4. Payments & Fees

All payments are processed securely via Paystack. Consultation fees are set by doctors. Mezo charges a platform fee (7.5% Starter, 6% Growth, 5% Diaspora). Doctor payouts are settled to verified bank accounts. Refund policies apply per the cancellation terms.

5. Cancellation Policy

Patients may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows may be charged the full consultation fee.

6. Limitation of Liability

Mezo is a technology platform and is not liable for the quality of medical services provided by doctors. Mezo does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In no event shall Mezo be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.
