Told you need surgery? Get a second opinion from a Mezo surgeon
Before you agree to an operation, let another specialist read your scans and results. You get a written answer, signed by the surgeon, that says whether surgery is right for you and what to do next.
Tell us what you were told
The operation another hospital advised, and what worries you about it.
Send your records
Scans, results and the doctor's letter. Photos of paper results are fine.
A Mezo surgeon writes back
A plain answer: whether surgery is right for you, what else to check, and what to do next.
Questions
Who reads my case?
A surgeon on Mezo in the specialty you choose, whose licence we have checked with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. Their name is on the review.
Is the free review really free?
Yes. If you can wait up to a week, the written review costs nothing. If you need an answer sooner, the urgent review is one fixed price.
Can a second opinion replace seeing a doctor?
No. It is advice on the records you send. If surgery is advised, you will be seen and examined before any operation, at Mezo or wherever you choose.
What if the surgeon agrees I need the operation?
You get a fixed, all-in Mezo price for it if you want one, and you can book the surgeon who reviewed your case. There is no obligation.
Who sees my records?
The reviewing specialist and the Mezo care team only. Your records are stored privately and your review opens with your phone number.
