Liver, Gallbladder and Pancreas Surgery in Lagos

Each price links to what it covers.

Gallstones that keep sending you to casualty, yellow eyes that nobody has explained, a scan that shows something on the liver or pancreas. This is the work of a hepatobiliary surgeon: the liver, the gallbladder, the bile ducts and the pancreas. You see a consultant who does this work, the tests are arranged as one plan, and you get the price in writing before anything is booked.

Questions people ask

What is a hepatobiliary surgeon?

A surgeon who specialises in the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts and pancreas. They do routine gallbladder operations and the major liver and pancreas operations that general surgeons usually refer on.

Do I need ERCP or gallbladder surgery?

Stones in the gallbladder are treated by removing it. A stone that has moved into the bile duct is cleared by ERCP first, and the gallbladder is usually removed afterwards.

Can I use my HMO?

Many plans cover gallbladder surgery and ERCP with prior authorisation. The desk files it. If the plan declines, you are told the cash price first.
