Vasectomy in Nigeria
The tubes that carry sperm are closed off through a tiny opening in the scrotum, under local anaesthetic. It takes about twenty minutes and you walk out. It does not change erections, orgasm, hormones or the look of semen. It is permanent contraception, so the decision comes first and the procedure second.

Questions people ask
Will it affect my erections or sex drive?
No. Hormones, erections and orgasm are unchanged, and semen looks the same. Only sperm are missing.
Is it immediately effective?
No. Sperm already beyond the cut take weeks to clear. Use contraception until the semen test at twelve weeks is clear.
Can it be reversed?
Sometimes, but reversal is a much bigger operation and does not always restore fertility. Treat a vasectomy as permanent.
Who will know?
Only you, and your partner if you choose. Appointments and results are handled discreetly.
