Thirty minutes with the surgeon herself, by video. You bring your goals, your history and photographs; she tells you what is involved, what she would and would not do, and whether you should be doing anything at all.

An in-person examination in Lagos, then a written quote that says what is included and what is not. Costings come from the team in writing, not from the surgeon in the room.

- Numbness of the lower lip or chin, usually temporary
- Implant infection or movement, sometimes needing removal
- Asymmetry
- Over-hollowing of the cheeks after buccal fat removal, more noticeable with age
- Contour irregularities after liposuction

Implant or filler?
Filler is temporary, needs no operation, and suits small changes. An implant or genioplasty is permanent and suits larger ones.
Will buccal fat removal make me look older?
It can, in a face that is already slim, because the cheeks lose volume naturally with age. It is offered where the face can afford it, and you will be told if yours cannot.
