Skin rejuvenation in Lagos: microneedling, PRP and skin boosters
These treatments improve the skin itself rather than lifting or filling the face. Microneedling makes tiny controlled punctures that prompt the skin to repair and firm up, and is the main non-surgical treatment for pitted acne scars. PRP, made from your own blood, and skin boosters are injected to improve texture, hydration and glow. They are known together as regenerative aesthetics. Treatment is given by the practice's own registered clinicians, to protocols written by Dr Kpaduwa.

Choosing for darker skin
Settings and depth are chosen to keep the risk of dark marks low. Lasers are not on this page. If a laser would suit your skin better, you are told so and where it can be done.

Treatment
Numbing cream first, then under an hour for most treatments. PRP starts with a blood sample taken in the room.

The course and review
Sessions a few weeks apart, then maintenance where the effect fades.
What happens afterwards
Microneedling
Redness and tightness like mild sunburn for one to three days, a little longer after RF microneedling.
PRP
Redness and pinpoint bruising for a day or two.
Skin boosters and bio-remodelling
Small bumps at the injection points that settle within a day or so.
Afterwards
Strict daily sunscreen. Results build over weeks and across the course.
Risks and limits you should know
- Dark marks after microneedling, a particular risk on darker skin, managed by settings and sun protection
- Bruising and swelling
- Infection
- Keloid, in skin prone to it
- Results that vary from person to person, especially with PRP, where the evidence for skin is modest

How much is microneedling in Lagos?

What is regenerative aesthetics?
Treatments that use the skin's own repair processes rather than filling or lifting: microneedling, PRP made from your own blood, and skin boosters. They improve skin quality gradually. They do not change the shape of the face.
Microneedling or a chemical peel?
Pitted acne scars and texture respond to microneedling. Flat dark marks and uneven tone respond to peels. The consultation tells you which you need, or whether you need both.
Do you offer laser?
Laser is not priced here. If a laser would suit your skin better than these treatments, you are told so at the consultation, and where it can be done.
