Your final figure is a written quote after consultation, covering surgeon, theatre, anaesthesia, stay, garments and reviews.
What the price covers
- The surgeon, the anaesthetist and the theatre
- Where the operation takes place, named in writing
- Garments, dressings, medication and your review appointments, priced into the number rather than added afterwards
What it does not cover
- Anything not listed in the written quote, which is costed for you before you decide rather than after
- Travel and accommodation if you are coming from outside Lagos
What would change this price
- Which procedures are combined
- One operation or two, which is a safety decision rather than a price one
- Implants, if breast volume is part of the plan
- Nights in hospital
HMO plans in Nigeria generally treat cosmetic surgery as excluded. If you believe yours may contribute, ask the HMO before the consultation and bring the answer in writing.
Who this is for
- Loose abdominal skin, separated muscles and breast changes after pregnancy
- Finished having children
- Finished breastfeeding, with the breasts settled for some months
- A steady weight and good general health
When it is not the right answer
- Anyone planning another pregnancy
- Within the first months after a birth or after stopping breastfeeding, when the body is still changing
- Current smokers
- Anyone who cannot arrange help at home for the first two weeks
The pathway, step by step
- 1
Consultation with Dr Kpaduwa₦150,000
Thirty minutes with the surgeon herself, by video. You bring your goals, your history and photographs; she tells you what is involved, what she would and would not do, and whether you should be doing anything at all.
- 2
Examination and a written quote
An in-person examination in Lagos, then a written quote that says what is included and what is not. Costings come from the team in writing, not from the surgeon in the room.
- 3
Screening before a date is offered
Nicotine, medicines, blood pressure, and whether your weight is still changing all affect safety and timing. The clinical team reads your answers before anyone offers you a date.
- 4
The plan
Which procedures, in what order, and whether in one operation or two. Longer operations raise the risk of clots, so the total time under anaesthetic sets the limit, not the wish list.
- 5
The operation
Under general anaesthetic, usually with at least one night in hospital.
- 6
Recovery and reviews
Garments, a written plan for the first weeks, and named follow-up.
Recovery, realistically
Weeks 1 to 2
The hardest stretch. Walking from the first day, bent slightly at the waist. You will need help with children and housework.
Weeks 2 to 4
Back to desk work for many. Still no lifting, including small children.
Week 6 onwards
Lifting and exercise return as the surgeon allows.
Months 6 to 12
Swelling settles and scars mature. This is when the result is judged.
Risks you should be told about
- Blood clots, a higher risk in longer combined operations
- Slow wound healing, especially in smokers
- Fluid collections (seroma)
- Scars that widen or thicken, including keloid on prone skin
- Numbness of the abdomen or nipples
- The individual risks of each procedure combined, which are on their own pages
Every operation carries risk. A surgeon who lists none is not being straight with you. Yours will go through these with you before you consent.
Questions people ask
How much does a mommy makeover cost in Lagos?
From ₦13,500,000, all-in (Mommy makeover). Your final figure is a written quote after consultation, covering surgeon, theatre, anaesthesia, stay, garments and reviews. Her video consultation is ₦150,000 and is put towards the total if you go ahead.
One operation or two?
It depends on your health and how long the combined operation would take. Splitting it is sometimes the safer plan, and you will be told why if it is recommended.
How long after my last baby should I wait?
Until you have finished having children, have stopped breastfeeding, and your weight has been steady for some months. Operating earlier means operating on a body that is still changing.
Who looks after my children while I recover?
Plan for help. Lifting a toddler strains a tummy tuck repair for about six weeks, and the first two weeks need someone else in the house.
Prices shown are in naira and were last checked on 7 October 2026. A “from” price is the all-in starting price for the standard case. Every operation is confirmed in a written quote after your consultation, because the right operation for you, and its cost, depend on what the surgeon finds.
