Your own blood is spun to concentrate platelets, which are injected into the scalp. A course of sessions, then maintenance.

Surgery that brings a high hairline forward by removing a strip of forehead skin, with the scar placed at the hairline where hair grows through it.

Recovery, realistically
PRP
A tender scalp for a day. Back to normal straight away. Results, where they come, show over months.
Hairline lowering
Swelling of the forehead for a week or two, stitches out in about a week. Some temporary shedding near the scar.
Transplant
Transplanted hairs usually shed in the first weeks and regrow over six to twelve months.
Risks you should be told about
- PRP: tenderness, temporary shedding, and results that vary from person to person
- Hairline lowering: a visible scar if hair does not grow through it, numbness of the scalp, temporary hair loss near the incision
- Transplant: patchy growth, scarring where hair was taken, and an unnatural hairline if poorly planned
- Infection, with any procedure that breaks the skin
