Progesterone test price in Nigeria
A progesterone test costs ₦24,000 on Mezo, paid online and done at a BeaconHealth Diagnostics site. Progesterone rises after an egg is released, so a level taken in the second half of your cycle shows whether you ovulated that month. It is often called the day 21 test, but the right day depends on how long your cycles are.

What the test is for
In a regular 28-day cycle the test is taken about 7 days before the next period is due, which is day 21. If your cycle is longer, the test day moves later; with irregular periods the doctor may repeat it. A sample on the wrong day can look low even when you are ovulating.
Ovulation is one part of fertility. The man's semen analysis (₦21,000) matters just as much, and is best done at the same time.

Which day should I do a progesterone test?
About 7 days before your next period is due: day 21 of a 28-day cycle, or day 28 of a 35-day cycle. If your cycle varies, ask your doctor.
Does a low progesterone mean I cannot get pregnant?
No. It may mean you did not ovulate that month, or that the test was on the wrong day. A doctor usually repeats it and looks at the whole picture.
Can I pay at the lab?
No. You tick the test on Mezo, choose a BeaconHealth Diagnostics site that does it and pay online before you go. The price you pay is the price on this page, and the site has your order waiting when you arrive.
How do I get my result?
When the laboratory has checked and released your result, we send you a text message and you read it on Mezo, signed in to your account. If a doctor on Mezo asked for the test, they see it too. Mezo does not promise a result time on this page, because it depends on the test and the site.
